Humbleness is a Virtue
1. Humbleness is a virtue.
2. Any being that is humble would not want to be worshipped.
3. God, being perfect, and has all virtues.
4. God does not want to be worshipped.
what do you all think about this??
we discussed this for a long time in my philosophy class today... i would love to hear all of your opinions on it.

it's a good question nick.
For me, this question primarily raises suspicions about our ideas on what it means to "worship" God, and does not necessarily question the existence of God.
Maybe humility shouldn't be confused with falsely imagining that you are less than you are.
I think being truly humble has more to do with the ability to find, respect and value strength and beauty in others; as opposed to obsessing over your own virtues.
It seems that what we understand about God demonstrates this trait pretty clearly by the immense value he places on all humanity, regardless of status or position.
